Section 15
Functions, Duties and Powers of the Federal Land Use Council
In addition to the functions, duties and powers mentioned elsewhere in this Act, the functions, duties and powers of the Federal Land Use Council shall be as follows:-
(a) National level land use planning based on long-term and periodical development plans and implementation capacity, (b) Necessary coordination between various agencies of the Government of Nepal to carry out the land use plan,
(c) To prepare land use map data necessary for carrying out land use planning,
(d) Prepare other necessary bases and standards related to 8 land use area classification, plan formulation and implementation,
(e) Resolve disputes related to inter-regional land use as prescribed.
